Ab Circle Pro Review
Anyone who watches TV must have seen the recent infomercial for the Ab Circle Pro machine. In the infomercial, you can see beautiful men and women using the Ab Circle while wearing a smile on their faces. In addition, this product is endorsed by Jennifer Nicole Lee, a well known fitness model.
In the infomercial, the promise is simple: use this machine and you will see a reduction in belly elephantine and inches. The question is does the Ab Circle Pro work and is it worth the price?
When you go to their website (which is the only place you can obtain this machine at the time of this writing), you immediately see that you can try the Ab Circle Pro in the comfort of your own home for 30 days for just $14.95. This seems like a great deal, but as my mother always tells me, it's the fine print that counts.
If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you see that in addition to the $14.95 designate for the actual trial itself, you will also need to pay $34.95 shipping and handling costs. If they're so sure of the quality of their product, why don't they mask the cost of the shipping?
If, during your 30 day trial, you do determine to return the item, you will need to pay for the shipping yourself. This means that the trial offer may cost you over $70 in total, which isn't so cheap for just trying something out.
If you do keep the item, you will be charged 5 monthly payments of $39.95 which bring the total cost of the Ab Circle Pro to over $200. Some people, missing the fine print, actually didn't know that it cost so much.
As the Ab Circle Pro is heavily promoted, there are places on the internet which serve as additional promotional venues for it. So, to make sure I got an apt acknowledge to my question of whether the Ab Circle Pro really works, I had to do some serious digging online. I checked out some forums as well as this Ab Circle Pro Reviews. What I read didn't paint a nice picture. Not at all.
It seemed that the infomercial stretched the truth a bit and that there are some serious things which are wrong with this machine. Here are some of the common Ab Circle Pro complaints which I've come across:
- Some people reported that the machine easily breaks and isn't as sturdy as you would demand from something which costs more than $200.
- The knee pads are far from comfortable. Some people reported that they actually hurt.
- Because of the strange position you pick when working out with the Ab Circle Pro, some people feel more strain in their arms than in their abs.
- As to the supposed cardio workout you get, you can easily get a better workout by running, using an elliptical machine, or just jumping rope.
Overall, I feel that this is another case of someone trying to sell us all a quick fix solution. Getting flat abs takes time, hard work, and dedication. You need to workout effectively and to eat properly. Don't fall for quick fix schemes. Change your life to a more healthy and active one and you will see results.
