The Truth About The Nautilus Elliptical E 514

I spent several weeks researching Elliptical machines on-line and searching for the best elliptical machine in stores such as Sports Authority, Play It Again Sports and Dick's Sporting Goods.

I wanted to score it right because I remember the horrible experience I had in college with an exercise stair stepping machine that was loud, clumsy and ineffective.

I finally decided on the Nautilus Elliptical E 514 and here are five reasons I love it:

No. 1: The Nautilus E 514 machine comes Polar heart rate ready which means even before they send you the heart rate strap in the mail; you can use the heart rate gape and strap you might already have. I love being able to track my calories on my watch in case I switch from the elliptical to another develop of exercise. Of course, the machine itself also keeps track of your calories.

No. 2: I wanted to put my Nautilus elliptical machine in our great room so I could watch television, but I did not want it to be an eyesore. I loved the look of the Nautilus Elliptical E 514 a lot more than the clunky appearance of many of the other elliptical I saw on-line and in the stores.

No. 3: The Nautilus E 514 has some basic conveniences such as cup holder for my water bottle and magazine rack so I can read a magazine while exercising. I typically watch the television while exercising on it, but the magazine rack comes in handy.

No. 4: The Nautilus E514 elliptical goes all the blueprint up to a level 16 in terms of resistance levels. That's plenty of resistance for the most serious athlete. It also has an "interval" setting which allows you to mix it up with harder and easier resistance. You can gawk your speed as well.

No. 5: The Nautilus Elliptical is quiet. No one ever complains about me exercising on my E514 even when they are sleeping in a room nearby or when they are watching television.

Some people like to work on treadmills, but I savor the feel of the elliptical. The key to getting fit is to cross train, always mixing it up. With my elliptical I can move from the elliptical to jump roping to weights without getting bored.

Finally, the elliptical Nautilus E 514 helps me beat the summer heat. I don't have to worry about sunburn or getting overheated. And I always have entertainment and ice cold water readily available as I work up a good sweat.
